Sami Vartiainen

Sami, the man of many talents within Asset Management, has a broad range of experience of leading asset management services in Finland and the Nordics. Sami’s previous experience as well as his structured approach to operating a business creates a firm foundation for successful asset management at Familiam.

Sami has worked as portfolio manager, development director, managing director for a fund company, managing director for an asset management company, country manager and the Chief Operating Officer in a Nordic organization.

Sami’s colleagues have learned that when Sami has something to say, it is worth listening to. As a former competitive swimmer Sami also knows what it is like to jump into the deep end of the pool. In addition to exercising, the familiy’s hobbies and activities fill Sami’s spare time.
